Well, how well informed is Any’s diagnosis vs. Alpha Prime’s? Or was Alpha Prime lying to Golden about the degeneration in order to manipulate her?
Any is a biology major, Golden is engineering. Even though that gives Any the edge, both the Professor and Alpha Prime are top geneticists, perfectly capable of fabricating a convincing lie for the girls.
If I had to trust either of them, it’d be The Prof.
Yep, that’s about the reaction I expected from Pato. Except less violent. I always expect more violence than I get.

And Pato doesn’t always have to resort to physical violence to get her point across. Some simple honesty really does the job here.
