I see her diplomatic skills are as sterling as ever. And nice job showing the helicopter’s arrival even without seeing it. That second panel does a good job conveying that.
Vero’s social skills have been always lacking. The fact that she now gets to hang with cool monsters haven’t changed that a bit.
We totally inferred the helicopter arrival due to storytelling reasons. We were not being lazy at all. Really.
