Clau could not help it fidgeting with the controls and the fair M9 Girls now face imminent peril…
Just another day in Crater City.
But, what is this travesty, you say?
Well, it seems that by some unknown webcomic magic, the M9 Girls are now living in another comic’s universe, in this case none other than the world of I, Mummy, by our friend Andy P.
Either that, or Clau just broke the fabric of reality once again. She has a penchant for doing that, you know.
Thanks to Kanela for providing the art for this transdimensional adventure.
And with no further ado, steampunk-nauts, we just have to say:
April’s Fools!!!
I LOVE THIS SOO MUCH! Thank you Kanela and Rulo! The little frownie face is wonderful. I wish I could use emoticons in my word balloons.
You better watch out, once you go steampunk normal reality never quite feels the same. It’s fun and addictive.
I think you’ll like what I’m working on. Life reared it’s ugly head last week, so it’s gonna take a bit more time to finish. I might have gone overboard, too.
HOLD ON! You changed your WHOLE FREAKIN SITE THEME! You guys are off the charts! This keeps getting better and better. 😀
I’m with Andy. Oh, this is too much awesome (to paraphrase Gilbert & Sullivan)!
Beautiful job, you guys. I really like the new Steampunk M9 Girls look. Glad you’re keeping it.
Oh yes, drawing Clau with goggles is definitely a keeper!
I hope life has gotten better Andy.
We really enjoyed creating this page, Kanela was all but glowing with glee at the prospect of drawing the Girls in steampunk attire. She might have gone overboard, but it was worth it. We like to think stuff like this happens all the time in the city, while Jane tries to live her life as a regular mummy girl 😛
Tomorrow we return to our regular schedule where people don’t wear goggles when they don’t need goggles?
If Karla is also the costume designer in this alternate reality, I’m sure she took every step in order to make the costumes fashionable and stylish!
This is one crossover that I didn’t see coming–well done! ^^
It was a hoot to do it. Pato is not happy that she gets silly costumes in every reality.
Can I just say that I rather like the steampunk versions of the girls’ outfits? They wear ’em well.
Pato does not like any version of the costumes. Clau would wear the googles in any version, she has wear a chicken hat, after all. And it looks like Any prefers short costumes, no matter which universe she exists!
