Because a place without emotions in a college is definitely worth exploring, right girls?
Hello, friends, we hope you enjoy this page, the first official rendering of the M9 Girls by Séreméla. The girls return to their comic and they seem about to get in trouble. Worry not, they are the M9 Girls. On the other hand, you can start worrying…
Oh, and before we forget, let me share this: I recently collaborated in writing a small joint story with Charlie Wise, the author of Groovy, Kinda. We had a blast, and you can now read the adventures the M9 Girls had with the people at Groovy, Kinda. This story sets a multiverse, and is considered canon in both comics.
Go read it and show your love to Charlie!
Gotta go, have some cyborg entities here that want an amiable chat with the Girls.
Aw, thanks for that, Rulo. It was so much fun writing and drawing the crossover. Plus, it got me re-reading the Girl’s adventures again!
Séreméla, great job on the Girls! I really love your take on them, especially Clau (who is the hardest one for me to get right).
And what the heck’s going on? Some cyborg terrorizing the place? This looks like a job for the M9 Girls!
And I wonder what Vero did with that serum…
I really liked flexing my writer’s reflexes on the GK playground, I hope we do it again soon.
I guess we are about to know if all that training paid off…
And we’ll have to wait a little to see what happens to Vero now.
Emoitionless. E–Motionless? Hmmm. Looks like you may have picked up one of Charlie’s habits. 😀
*Ahem* But seriously, great page. I really like the feeling of panic in Panel 1, and how the M9 Girls aren’t affected or impressed by it. M9 game face, yay!
Well, they are not panicking but they also don’t look too keen into following Any. Hopefully she knows what she is doing.
After the crossover I might have catch a little on Charlie’s wordplay.
Anyone who hangs around Charlie usually improves in wordsculpting. 🙂
If I recall correctly, Any’s position as leader was never actually ratified by the others. 😉
But Any is the one with the Amazing Mental Superpower.
She can stay focused.
I like the way the girls are drawn. They all look distinct and their poses all reflect their personalities in some way. Any’s serious face in panel three is really cool, too.
Curiosity is getting the best of Any…. again. I like it that the girls’ personalities are showing. Séreméla will be happy to hear that.
Which raises questions about why that figure doesn’t have emotions, as well as questions of if emotion is strictly a biological function that can be suppressed and excised, or something more fundamental…
Answers probably coming next strip…
Or if it has emotions that Any can’t read, or are shielded by the braincase.
We stablished that Any cannot read Stephanie’s robotic emotions, so there must be some biological process to which Any is attuned…
Thank you so much for your comments… maybe I do not write that often here (or at all xd) but I am really flattered by everything you post here… honestly you make me blush and I appreciate every word you type here… I do read everything even if I don´t answer back…. So… thanks again… you make me smile with every kind feeling 🙂
Oh, hey, Seremela!
So glad you posted. Hello!
I just wanted to show my appreciation for the great work you’re doing. Thanks for making the M9 Girls such a fun read!
I’m sure Rulo helped a little, of course…
It’s very rude to interrupt the Buddhist meditation class. That’s like waking up a bald bear from hibernation. Oh, I see they’ve gone beyond transcendence and achieved transparent (brains). 🙂 I’m looking forward to this!!!
Poor cyborg might be just relaxing after a long work day, right? The Girls are so mean…
Squishy green brains. Eeewwww
Gotta admit, when I first saw that brain, I thought it was disgusting and horrifying.
Which means of course the artist did a great job. Congrats!
Séreméla is sure to deliver both nice M9 Girls and creepy monsters!
