Things are getting real for the M9 Girls!
Any has shared her predicament with the other girls. Though they are fully supporting Any, the news certainly have cast a cloud on the girls’ spirits.
And remember the giant robot that the M9 Girls fought in Chapter 1? Karlita is about to face the consequences of that encounter.

Shadow! Holy crap, this is your best cover page yet! The poses, the way the arm muscles are structured, the detailed shading that lends a great deal of dimension to the forms, the soft linework that blends smoothly into the bodies–it’s ALL fantastic! I’ve been loving the way your art has improved over time, and this piece in particular is impressive stuff.
As for what’s actually going on…well, Karla doesn’t have the best track record against villains. Hopefully she’ll put up a better fight this time, but I have a feeling this won’t turn out in her favor.
Shadow spent some time agonizing over that cover. We really like to pamper our readers every now and then.
And, we will have to see if Karlita’s training will count for something. Specially considering that Karla spends her time redesigning the costumes. Oh, well…
