Any’s Diary:
I wanted a date. A real date.
I mean, our relationship is everything but conventional. It took us ages to admit it, and our lives right now are… complicated, what with the girls quitting the lab and trying to go back to what passes for normalcy these days.
This is something I would usually share with Pato, or Clau, but I have kept it for myself. I’m sure Pato suspects something, even though she is not an emotion reader like me. She knows me too well.
We mostly stay at the lab, and we keep working on studying the serum and how it has affected us. I’m pretty sure we are not publishing papers soon, however.
But I longed for… normal. Mostly, to get him out of the lab. Out of the house.
So I planned everything. As I do planning, with every single detail accounted for. Got the wine. Got the bread. Took that summer outfit I bought and never wore before.
He is so endearing being out of his element. But he is happy. And I am happy.
We got our date. We got our day off.
