SEASON 1: ORIGINS<\/h2>\n

<\/span>Chapter One: Tangents<\/div>

\nAny and her friends Clau and Pato are science students at the university. They recruit fancy Karla for help in getting home assignments done.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Shortly after that, Any is contacted by someone claiming to be a science Professor, who invites her and her friends to work at his lab.
\nInitially distrustful, the girls agree to an interview, though they keep Karla’s friend Vero out of the deal.
\n\"\"<\/a>
\nThe girls visit the Professor and they agree on taking the job upon seeing the cool premises and the handsome pay.
\nThey have landed the perfect job. Or have they? What is the Professor’s connection with the grotesque being called Alpha Prime and his twisted experiments?<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>
\n<\/div><\/div>\n

<\/span>Chapter Two: Genesis<\/div>
\n

\"\"<\/a>
\nVero gets very curious about Karla’s new job and keeps pestering her friend about, though Karla quickly informs her that her days at the lab are actually pretty dull.<\/p>\n

The girls spend their days making notes and repeating failing experiments with unstable cells. Lab life is boring.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Except for Any, who really likes interacting with the Professor. Maybe a little too much.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Eventually, success! After using some DNA samples from the girls, the Professor informs them that he was able to radiate the\u00a0 cells with the primordial cosmic energy coming from the beginning of the universe, and now those cells hold special properties.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As the Professor leaves to analyze the data the girls find themselves trapped in the lab when fail-safe measures seal them in the control room as a reactor overcharges. The girls are bathed in radiation.<\/p>\n

\n<\/div><\/div>\n

<\/span>Chapter Three: Decisions<\/div>
\n\n\n\n
\u00a0\"\"<\/a><\/td>\n\"\"<\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

With the girls facing certain death after being exposed to radiation, the Professor comes up with a daring plan: inject them with his serum so that the girls’ bodies can process cosmic radiation.\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The girls undergo the treatment, and as a result they develop special powers and the M9 Girls are born! Clau becomes a telekinetic, Pato discovers she can teleport, and Karlita can generate colorful light sparks.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The girls ask Any what she can do, and she reveals she can “feel” everybody’s major feelings. but, what does she sense inside the Professor’s mind?<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Meantime, Vero, unbeknownst of the accident, resents Karla’s abandonment.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>
\n<\/div><\/div>\n

<\/span>Chapter Four: Lessons<\/div>
\n

\"\"<\/a>
\nFancying themselves as a super heroine team, the M9 Girls adopt hero names: Any is Blue Destiny, Pato is Purple Space, Clau is White Energy and Karlita becomes Pink Starlight. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Karla uses her research spending money (and a little more than that) in creating costumes, and they start a training of sorts.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>They all discover they possess additional powers: Any can stop time, Clau can project energy fields, Karla can become invisible and Pato frightfully discovers she can absorb the properties of whatever object she touches.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Any, unwilling to read the Professor’s mind, tries to make him confide in her, and they end up sharing an intimate moment.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>At school, Vero confronts Karla about their secrecy, falling at odds with Any. Unhappy with the girls’ reaction, she steals Karla’s access card to the lab.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Meantime, tired of trying to replicate the Professor’s experiments to no avail, Alpha Prime decides to take a more direct approach.<\/p>\n

\n<\/div><\/div>\n

<\/span>Chapter Five: Allegiances<\/div>
\n

\"\"<\/a>Vero breaks into the lab using Karlita’s stolen card, and she finally discovers the M9 Girls’ secret. The Professor discovers her and promptly kicks her out of the premises. But has she taken more than the Girls’ secret with her?<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The M9 Girls have problems of their own as a small army of horribly scarred cyborgs break into one of the university’s warehouses. The girls are discovered spying on the cyborgs and they are forced to fight them. Inexperienced as they are they are quickly surrounded, only for the cyborgs to escape as they secure the artifact they were looking for.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Upon realizing the stolen equipment is closely related to the Professor’s research, the girls decide to confront him. This time, Any cannot help it but reading the Professor’s thoughts,\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 and he is forced to disclose that the person behind the theft is Alpha Prime, his former research colleague.<\/p>\n

Pato realizes the Professor plan was to create enhanced individuals in order to fight Alpha Prime and, feeling used, quits on the spot and drags the other girls with her, not before the Professor warns them that Vero has managed to steal a serum vial and must be found.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Having injected herself with the serum, Vero is easily tracked by Alpha Prime’s minions and captured. Realizing the serum would kill her if not exposed to cosmic radiation, Alpha Prime decides to help Vero on his own terms.\"\"<\/a>
\n<\/div><\/div>\n

<\/span>Chapter Six: Revelations<\/div>
\n

\"\"<\/a>
\nKarlita answers a text message from Vero and agrees to meet in secret. Upon meeting Vero she unwittingly reveals her powers, though Vero needs no confirmation.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Vero is very determined on entering into the Professor’s lab one more time, but Karla refuses. As things get a little rough Clau makes her presence known by levitating both girls to the roof of a building. Vero gets angry when she realizes Karla confides more in her new friend than in her, and she reveals having acquired powers of her own, releasing herself of Clau’s force feed and then fending Clau’s energy attacks. But things escalate when Vero fights Karla back and realizes she can hurt her friend for real. Anguished, she flees the scene, with Clau in hot pursuit.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The girls try to reassemble, but Any has already decided to meet with the Professor and demand the truth.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>While the Professor agrees to willingly submit to Any’s mind probe, a depressed Vero lets herself be taken back to Alpha Prime’s hideout, where he confirms to her that she is dying, and so is everyone who has taken the serum. Worried about Karla’s fate, Vero accepts to collaborate with Alpha Prime and embraces her new identity as Golden.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Any realizes that, no matter what dark past the Professor may have, he has more urgent things to hide from her, which makes her reveal some feelings of her own!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>
\n<\/div><\/div>\n

<\/span>Chapter Seven: Collisions<\/div>
\n

\"\"<\/a>
\nAny and the Professor finally acknowledge their mutual feelings and end up spending the night together.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Their new bond makes it easier for Any to pick up on the Professor’s emotions, so she finally gets a glimpse into his tormented past: how his youthful friendship with his research colleague ended in treason and tragedy with the death of a loved one. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The vision reinforces the Professor’s will to confront Alpha Prime, and leaves Any torn between her loyalties to the Professor and the rest of the M9 Girls.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>However, life has gone on at the university, and Any finds herself estranged from her friends as apparently they have decided to move on and leave their stint at super-heroines behind.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Meantime, Golden breaks again into the lab, only to be promptly captured by the Professor, who tells her the truth about the serum: Alpha Prime is dying from it, but not the girls. Golden realizes there’s a tracking device in her new\u00a0 fatigues, and the Professor leaves her imprisoned to deal with Alpha Prime and his small army of cyborgs as they storm into the building.<\/p>\n

Overpowered by Alpha Prime, the Professor reveals the missing piece on his research, a revelation that destroys any chance of a cure for Alpha Prime. Unfortunately for him, Alpha Prime also discovers the existence of the M9 Girls, causing the Professor to be fearful for the first time. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Realizing the bond between the Professor and the M9 Girls, Alpha Prime makes a terrifying choice!
\n<\/div><\/div>\n

<\/span>Chapter Eight: Confrontation<\/div>
\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Warned by her empath link with the Professor, Any knows something terrible has happened at the lab, as she drags the rest of the girls to the Professor’s manor.<\/p>\n

Any finds the Professor mortally wounded. He admits to having overestimated Alpha Prime and asks Any to avoid confronting him.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The Professor dies in Any’s arms, leaving her devastated.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Golden, having escaped from the containment room, appears then, causing a frantic Any to attack her in desperation. But her empath powers reveal the real reason behind Golden’s action, so Any relents.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Any decides to confront and defeat Alpha Prime for good, much to the concern of her friends. Unable to convince her otherwise, the girls decide to join her… as the M9 Girls!<\/p>\n

Golden, finally seeing a chance to belong, joins the team and with her help the M9 Girls head towards Alpha Prime’s hideout.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Is the newly formed super-heroine team ready to fight Alpha Prime?<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

<\/span>Chapter Nine: Onslaught<\/div>
\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Things are not looking good for the M9 Girls.<\/p>\n

Rendered powerless by Alpha Prime’s device, the Girls learn about his nefarious experiments in order to reverse his condition.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Facing certain death, Pink Starlight summons all her inner strength to summon her powers and break free of the device. But has the effort been too much for Karla?<\/p>\n

No time to find out as the M9 Girls must reassemble to pursue Alpha Prime and his doctor.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The situation is still desperate: Blue Destiny, Purple Space and White Energy must deal with the newly mutated Alpha Prime, while Golden wards Pink Starlight from the cyborg army sent by the doctor.<\/p>\n

Pato and Clau give all they have against the menacing Alpha Prime, but can Any end the conflict in a different way?<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

<\/span>Chapter Ten: Reckoning<\/div>
\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Alpha Prime’s rage and hate against the Professor forces Blue Destiny to fight back. Using her time-stopping powers, Any is able to retreat into her inner mind… and face her inner demons!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Can White Energy save the day? What is Blue Destiny willing to sacrifice for her friends?<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

SEASON 2: GROWING PAINS<\/h2>\n

Into uncharted territory.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Chapter One: Doggone Days<\/div>
\n

\"\"<\/a>Six months after the past events, Any, Pato, Clau, Karlita and Vero continue their normal student life, except when things happen that require the M9 Girls, like a giant robot causing havoc in the city. The Girls are certainly better prepared this time for hero duty, but their fight ends unexpectedly with… a new house companion?<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

<\/span>Chapter Two: Lingering Past<\/div>
\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The M9 Girls are training hard, and all is as normal as can be in their lab, but are there tensions in the group? Newcomer Simon certainly has a soft spot for one of the girls.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Vero also seems to have a soft side after all, while Any seems to still be carrying hard memories from the past. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Meantime, the owner of certain giant robot may want to get to know more of the M9 Girls, and he has an unexpected ally for it!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

<\/span>Chapter Three: College Blues<\/div>
\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Life at college goes on, and the Girls go about their semester, though Pato notices that Any keeps isolating herself. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

They have a heart-to-heart in between classes as Pato tries to help Any move on from the traumatic events of the previous semester.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Being heroines in training is also taking a toll in Clau’s relationships, as she bitterly realizes just before she is about to share her secret with her boyfriend.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Still unbeknownst to them, the Corporation, now joined by the Doctor, closes in with a plan to get to the M9 Girls.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

College life is certainly getting more complicated for the M9 Girls, as Vero misreads Karlita’s motives to cancel their plans.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

<\/span>Chapter Four: Occupational Hazards<\/div>
\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The M9 Girls discover the hazards of being heroines as the follow\u00a0 a lead from Golden and try to catch a band of robbers.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Not only they face the real dangers of being a hero, but the Girls also find themselves at odds with Golden’s methods.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Any is not happy with Pato for undertaking a mission without her, but Pato rebuts that it is Any’s secretiveness in the lab which is isolating her.<\/p>\n

Any decides to confide in Pato, and confesses a terrifying truth.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

<\/span>Chapter Five: The Rift<\/div>
\n

\"\"<\/a>Simon had one reason to leave the Groovy, Kinda<\/a> universe and become the chief engineer at the M9 Girls secret lab. Too bad things are not going as well as he planned.<\/p>\n

Not only that, but Any insists on keeping Simon and the rest of the Girls on the dark.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Being in charge of most of the happenings at the mansion, Simon lets Any know that, even though he doesn’t know what’s troubling her, he knows she is not OK, for which Any is grateful. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

He also tries to convince Any to let Pato handle Golden’s latest insubordination, but he doesn’t prevail.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Pato and Clau find Golden stalking the rest of the criminal band they confronted earlier. Golden is ready to go fully armored against them. They try to dissuade her once more, but tensions grow, as Golden is still sore with Clau, and a little fight ensues.<\/p>\n

Only this time Clau does not let herself be bullied by Golden!<\/p>\n

Suddenly, Clau finds her powers are failing her! She is surprised, and so is Golden, who wonders…<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As Pato intervenes, she also finds herself powerless. Golden now knows for sure what she can do.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Pato doesn’t let something like being powerless stop her from a good fight, but Any arrives in the nick of time and stops the fight.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately for Golden, Any is also against possibly lethal violence, but still, Golden makes her point.<\/p>\n

Once again, Golden finds herself alienated, and decides to dump the team.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Chapter Six: Truth or Dare<\/div>
\n
