Why is Pato wearing a space helmet?

Well, it happens that she recently was part of this massive crossover with Space Lincoln, mascot of the Webcomic Underdogs, along with several other characters from that community. An herculean job undertaken by Sarah Drifill, author of Princess Chroma. This colossal drawing should be hung at the entrance of the MOMA, at least, in my humble opinion.

By the way, Webcomic Underdogs is the very best community for comic creators in the whole world. Pay us a visit some time.

What would happen if the M9 Girls were recruited by Beagle Labs, a few years before the later became instrumental for the raise of the Apex State in Ruby’s universe? This imaginary story pits both M9 and Ruby characters against the relentless of the Apex State in a test of spirit and loyalty.

The M9 State

A M9 Girls / Ruby’s World Crossover

Prologue.

The morning was bright over the University main campus. The girls walked lazily among the booths.

“Boring recruitment fairs are boring”, stated Clau, looking at the stands.

“Well, I’m only here for the free pizza”, retorted Pato with her signature wry smile.

“Look over there”, said Any, quietly, pointing to the booth on the far end.

“Not another lab, Any”, said Pato, rolling her eyes. “You know what happened the last time we got involved with a lab.”

They were close to the booth now, and the man sitting behind it was looking at them with interest.

“Well, girls, it says here that Beagle Labs is one of the top bio-engineering facilities in the world”. And Karla made a display of showing them the info on her cell phone.

“Indeed we are”, said the man behind the booth, catching the girls’ attention. “Perhaps you are looking for a rewarding job in the industry?”

“Well, we are biology majors”, said Any, greeting the man.

“With a minor in genetics, actually”, interjected Karla, smiling.

“Why don’t we discuss your career opportunities, then?” And the man produced a presentation card.

“Yes, why not?” said Pato, with a longing side look towards the pizza stands.

“I can assure you, young ladies, that working at Beagle Labs is a life-changing experience.”

And Any’s eyes twinkled blue. The man was absolutely sincere.

It is also time for the Comic Underdogs Halloween exchange. This year the theme was “watching horror movies“. So here they are, the M9 Girls are watching the uncut version of “The Fly”. While Pato might be unimpressed by the sub-par special effects, it seems like the other girls are wondering whether  they choose the correct movie for they Halloween sleepover.

A crossover with the Almighty Protectors

Hello Cybernauts.

Rulo and Shadow are working hard in the next chapter, and it has been challenging for several reasons (meaning, Real Life gets in the way of making comics).

We don’t want you to wait without your M9 Girls fix, so we are taking this month to showcase the amazing crossover we created with Ave Messer, creator of the Almighty Protectors. The Protectors can travel between universes, so it was only a matter of time for them to cross paths with the M9 Girls.

The story fits roughly in the current continuity, besides, do we really need a excuse for crossing over with another superhero comic from the CoH?

We hope you enjoy this action-packed adventure, and naturally, go to the Protectors’ site to read their adventures.

This guy sis Zap, he controls electrostatic energy and has a short fuse (duh). Too bad he choose to antagonize Pato when she is also ready for action and not too worried about electricity since she can turn into concrete.
