Well, I’m glad you focused on the girls personalities, that was part of the intent of the panel.
Inheriting a residence turned into a lab may indeed come with its share of secrets, but that is, well, another story.
The Prof had been preparing for his encounter with Alpha Prime for a long time, and he was properly paranoid about it. Actually, entering into possession of the residence is a testament of his ability to plan ahead. Again, that’s a story for another time.

And the poses in the last one, as well. The way everyone’s positioned really does a great job of show their personalities. Weird thing to focus on, but hey.
And I know this comic’s future is still a little TBA, but I like this setup where the girls get to have a Cool Science Pad. There could be a lot of interesting secrets in the lab they don’t know about yet.
But…I have to wonder. Did the Prof…know he was gonna die? I mean, setting them up like this seems to suggest he at least suspected he might not make it. Maybe that’s another topic to explore, if the comic continues someday…

Certainly, the girls have just skimmed the surface with the whole hero thing. At least Golden seems to be on their side and no longer annoyed with Karla for keeping her out. Mad science doctor seems to be on the loose, and that may not be good for the M9 Girls. We are optimistic that they will be better prepared for the next encounter.

With all the classes they missed, their chances of being straight A students are slim, at best. Any and Karla will be the most annoyed for that. Clau never worried too much about her grades any way.
