I really like how you set this up almost wordlessly, Rulo. The wide cityscape is so cool, and it really sets the tone.
And what’s going on? Why does Vero want to meet her? Why alone?
Last time we saw Vero she was strapped to a table and getting more than her minimum daily requirement of radiation. Are we gonna see her powers?
Now that I think of it, why does she have all those golden sparks coming off her in the chapter page?
Is it even Vero talking in the last panel? Have they set Karla up?
So many questions!
