Clau is just following her emotions and trying to share something that is important to her. She has not think it through, and considered the consequences.

If she really IS about to use her powers to impress him, she’s making a classic relationship mistake. If you try to impress someone with something that wasn’t what drew them to you in the first place, it takes their attention away from a proven winning strategy, and risks confusing the relationship. 🙁

In Clau’s case, it has the further downside of revealing to him that she’s post-human–a very possibly scary concept. ><

Clau is just having a Clau moment.

She is more subtle than Karlita, but she certainly knows how to strike a pose.

It wasn’t, but they didn’t have a choice.
Now, on the other hand (hand, get it? ’cause she’s got a glowing-oh, never mind), Clau is outing herself to someone she probably doesn’t know all that well.
This is the kind of thing you want to have a sit-down talk about first, before just leaping into-but this is Clau we’re talking about.

And then she will have to explain to Any why she decided to go ahead outing herself without discussing it with the team. Not that the episode with the robot was discrete, mind you.
